These are personal accounts from some of the teens while they were in the Dominican!
"Tonight I have experienced worship like never before. I think this is partly because we broke the Baptist rule of no dancing. But I tell you these people truly do know how to leave there cares at the feet and just praise God. I came down here thinking I would minister to these people, and it is quite the opposite. These people have show me how to truly praise the Lord! We really need more of the worship they have here at home!"

"Witchcraft is not as scary as I thought it would be. I'm disappointed."

"We all are having a great time. It's humid and hot, and when you're outside, you turn into a sprinkler...The house and the construction is going along well. The Mexican team that is here with us is helping us build it. We just finished our first week of VBS to a group of kids in a village. We really reached out to those people. Yesterday, we visited the house the team built last year. It was really cool to see how they were doing. Right now we are waiting on the sidewalk with the Mexican team, because we're going to help them with their VBS. Please continue to pray for us, and we all hope all is well back in the States."

"We were prayer walking around the house we are building, and I saw this random guy on the street. He had a cool cross rosary around his neck. I told him in Spanish that I like his necklace, and he said something in Spanish back to me. I didn't understand, so I asked a translator what he said. It turned out the guys said, "Its yours." Here I was a random stranger to him, and he gave me his cross necklace. The generosity here is incredible. They have so little, but still give so much. That's the kind of love and generosity the Bible calls us to have."
