Tithes and Offerings: Scripture teaches us that everything we have is given to us by God, and that ultimately all our possessions still belong to Him. As God has blessed us, we should bless Him by sacrificially giving to advance His Kingdom.
How to Give to Support DBC
Use the offering envelopes in the bulletin – complete with your name and contact information.
Contributions statements will be provided for income tax deductions.
Through His Spirit, God has given every believer a unique giftedness to serve and minister within the body of His church. We encourage all church members to discover their spiritual gifts and to utilize them in the ministries of DBC.
Spiritual Gift Survey
We are pleased to offer a personal Spiritual Gifts Survey under the Resources section of our website. This survey will help you know and understand your giftedness to serve.
Child Safety and Protection
For security reasons, all DBC volunteers will need to complete an application prior to beginning their volunteer service. Background checks will also be required, particularly for those working with children and youth.
We also utilize a check-in system for children. Families will be given name badges for their children with a matching tag to be retained by the parents. Parents must present the matching tags in order to pick up their children. Identification may be required if tags are lost or misplaced.
Learn LiveGive
The Missions Development Team exists to mobilize DBC members for participation in mission opportunities both locally and around the world. They raise awareness of missionary efforts, promote missions giving, and coordinate missions and outreach events. Some of the events scheduled for 2019 include:
Safe Nights – Sheltering the homeless at DBC in the winter months.

Finally, and most importantly, giving the gospel involves sharing your personal faith and experience with Christ with someone else.
Throughout the year, we offer classes that will train you on how to share your faith, help you better understand your beliefs, and encourage you on how to approach others on the topic of faith. Personal evangelism, or sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, doesn’t have to intimidating or frightening. It is simply sharing God’s plan of salvation in Christ and letting others know what Christ has done for you.
As mentioned in 1 Peter 3:15,
“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear”
