Giving Through Stewardship, Service, Missions, and Evangelism

GIVE ONLINE

Tithes and Offerings: Scripture teaches us that everything we have is given to us by God, and that ultimately all our possessions still belong to Him.  As God has blessed us, we should bless Him by sacrificially giving to advance His Kingdom.

OTHER WAYS TO GIVE

Giving can be done anytime using a smartphone by texting your offering amount to 84321.

You may also give an offering during Sunday Service by using the offering envelopes in the bulletin.

GIVING BY SERVING

Through His Spirit, God has given every believer a unique giftedness to serve and minister within the body of His church.  We encourage all church members to discover their spiritual gifts and to utilize them in the ministries of DBC.

GIVING BY SHARING THE GOSPEL

Giving the gospel involves sharing your personal faith and experience with Jesus Christ with someone else.

Throughout the year, we offer classes that will train you on how to share your faith, help you better understand your beliefs, and encourage you on how to approach others on the topic of faith.  Personal evangelism, or sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, doesn't have to be intimidating or frightening.  It is simply sharing God's plan of salvation in Christ and letting others know what Christ has done for you.

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.

1 Peter 3:15

GIVING THROUGH MISSIONS

At DBC we give through missions.  Our Missions Development Team exists to mobilize members for participation in mission opportunities both locally and around the world.  They raise awareness of missionary efforts, promote missions giving, and coordinate missions and outreach events.  Some of the events we participate in include:

Safe Nights, Guest Missionary Speakers, Missionaries, Church Plants, Missions Offerings

(Lottie Moon, Annie Armstrong, State Missions and Disaster Relief), Operation Christmas Child, and Short Term Missions Scholarships.
